Only 4 years old, the brand Edie Parker founded by Brett Heyman not only astonishes the crowd with their jelly like handbags; but also differentiates themselves with any other clutch because they pay homage to American Show girl and Socialite handbags back in 1950s to the 60s, which were all made by dedicated American craftsmen in United States. Continuing the heritage; Edie Parker’s rectangular gem- flaked clutches are also made in America. With design ideas from New York, materials from New Jersey and manufactured in Chicago; the accessories are truly a made in the USA.
Using different colored smooth marble like surfaces in creating graphics such as fruits, animals and names; the clutches are extravagant but classy for it’s rectangular shape and palm friendly sizes. All adorned with a metallic clasp on the top, the clutch is nothing too fancy but detailed enough to grasp attention. My favorite are the text embedded designs, using unexpected colors on these creamy materials to contrast the boldness with it’s texturized reflective quality.
